The Karen people specialize in designs based on animism and living in harmony with nature, and some of their accessories use tools of daily life as motifs. This necklace looks like a [wrapping] made by folding wide leaves. The traditional motif of wrapping rice and sweets goes well with the Karen [fish] motif. |
