| [Oya] is a traditional Turkish lace weave decoration in the shape of a flower, etc. It has long been popular as a scarf decoration for women in the Anatolia*Aegean region. The motifs knitted with a crochet hook are called tu*oja, and those knitted with beads, such as this item, are called bonjuk*oja.
