[With pockets on both sides] SISAM is particular about attaching pockets to dresses as much as possible. We pursued a design that combines convenience as well as fabric. [After much trial and error, we came up with the idea of "Let's give it a different feel.] "Let's give it a different feel from what we've done before." This was discussed among the designers when deciding on the print pattern. This brick print was originally inspired by a design with layers of masking tape. The designer who was put in charge of the project examined 30 different color schemes.... After repeated trial and error on how to arrange the printed patterns, it was finally completed! デザイナー同士でプリント柄を決めるときに、そんな話が挙がったそう。
このレンガプリントは、もともとマスキングテープを重ねたデザインから着想を得て作られました。
担当になったデザイナーは、30通りの中から配色を吟味…。
全体のバランスを重視して「これだ！」と思うものを作成し、レディースとメンズ双方で使用できるカラーを決めたと言います。
プリント柄をどのように配置するか何度も試行錯誤を重ね、ついに完成！
「テトリスみたいだった〜！」と、大変な作業を笑顔で明るく振り返るデザイナーの姿がなんとも眩しく、印象的です。
