[With pockets on both sides] SISAM is particular about attaching pockets to dresses as much as possible. We pursued a design that combines convenience as well as fabric. [After much trial and error, we came up with the idea of "Let's give it a different feel.] "Let's give it a different feel from what we've done before." This was discussed among the designers when deciding on the print pattern. This brick print was originally inspired by a design with layers of masking tape. The designer who was put in charge of the project examined 30 different color schemes.... デザイナー同士でプリント柄を決めるときに、そんな話が挙がったそう。
このレンガプリントは、もともとマスキングテープを重ねたデザインから着想を得て作られました。
担当になったデザイナーは、30通りの中から配色を吟味…。
全体のバランスを重視して「これだ！」と思うものを作成し、レディースとメンズ双方で使用できるカラーを決めたと言います。
プリント柄をどのように配置するか何度も試行錯誤を重ね、ついに完成！
「テトリスみたいだった〜！」と、大変な作業を笑顔で明るく振り返るデザイナーの姿がなんとも眩しく、印象的です。
