[Loose-fitting balloon sleeves] The balloon sleeves have a cute bulge that gives a soft and fluffy impression when the arms are lifted. The sleeve length is just long enough to cover the elbow. The lightweight voile fabric has a nice, neatly falling feel. [Stand collar with a crisp look] The collar is a handsome stand collar shirt. Many people may be captivated by the balance between the sweetness of the balloon sleeves and the sweetness of the shirt. It looks even more crisp when worn open in the front*. [The relationship between flowers and Indian deities is...] The motif of the print is the small and lovely [Holy Flower]. [The official name is Akon, which means "the flower favored by Indian deities. Akon is a light purple flower that the designer was particularly attracted to when she came across it. [One of the growers told us that it is good to have it at the entrance. As the origin of the name suggests, the connection between flowers and gods is actually very strong in India. Locally, the flower is associated with the goddess Lakshmi and Hanuman, the god of martial arts. [Indian gods are rather human-like. That is what makes them Indian. sisamの隠れた名品、バルーンシャツ。
今年は、さらりとしたスクリーンハンドプリントの生地でお届けします。
「ゆったりとしたバルーン袖」
ふくらみがかわいいバルーン袖は、腕を持ち上げるとふわりとやわらかな印象に。
袖丈はひじが隠れるくらいの長さで仕上げました。
薄手のボイル生地なので、きちんと落ち感があるのも嬉しいポイントです。
「スタンドカラーでキリリと」
襟は、ハンサムなスタンドカラーシャツ。
バルーン袖で甘さのある分、このバランスに心を奪われる方も多いのではないでしょうか。
前開きにして羽織るとよりキリっとした印象になります◎
「花々とインドの神様の関係は…」
プリントのモチーフは、小さく可愛らしい「ホーリーフラワー」。
「インドの神様が好む花」という意味が込められており、正式名称はアコンと言います。
アコンは、デザイナーが出会って特に惹かれた薄紫色の花。
「玄関に置いておくといいよ」と、ある生産者は教えてくれたそうです。
命名の由来にもある通り、実はインドでは花々と神様の結びつきがとても強いのだとか。
現地では、この花は女神ラクシュミや武闘の神ハヌマンを連想させるのだそうです。
「インドの神様って、どちらかというと人間っぽさがあるんです。そこがインドっぽい。神様も、やさぐれる時があるんだ〜って思います。」
どこか親近感を感じるように、楽しそうに話すデザイナーの手元には、参考資料の数々が。
「着る」という行為だけに留まらず、手に取る皆様に「ホーリーフラワー」のプリント柄も楽しんでいただけることを願っています。
「”神様が好む花”」
インドで出会った花をモチーフに、元気が出る色合いでデザインしました。
モチーフの花は、「インドの神様が好む花」ということで「ホーリーフラワー」と名付けました。
薄手ボイルで透け感があり、涼しげなハンドスクリーンプリント生地です。
オーガニックコットン100%のプリント生地です。
