「デザイナーが見たbotanical garden」
今季のテーマ「botanical garden」のデザインは、インドの様々な植物がモチーフになっています。
例えば、ニーム、コットンの花、アコン…。
この五つの赤い花びらを持つホウオウボクは、マメ科の木。世界の三大名花の一つとされています。
現地で出会ったさまざまな花々をデザインに落とし込み、サテンのハンドスクリーンプリント生地は出来上がりました。
あえて線を離したり、色のずれを起こすデザインにすることで、味のある手仕事感を出しています。
デザイナーのイチオシカラーは、ライトグレイ。
「サテンの生地でこれほど地の白い色は初めて！透けも気になりません。」と話してくれました。
「ようこそ、心安らぐ庭園へ」
テーマの「botanical garden」から、インドで出会った植物の庭をイメージしてデザインされました。
オーガニックコットン100%のプリント生地です。
上品な光沢と落ち感があり、重ね着にも向くサテン織。今シーズンは少し番手を変更し、透けにくい厚みになりました。
