なんといってもこのパンツの特徴の一つは、前部分に入ったこのラップ部分！
リニューアルしたことで深くなり、タックインした時により目に留まるようになりました。
「2つのキリカエ」
パンツ部分に入った2本の切り替えは、ワイドなシルエットに動きをもたらしてくれます。
ユニークなデザインながらも、穿きやすい1本に仕上がりました。
「ベルトループのアクセント」
後ろのベルトループに施されたグリーンの文字。
ヒンディ語で「ボーテ」と書かれており、植物を意味します。
今季のコレクションテーマ「botanical garden」にちなんで刺繍されました。
同じくグリーンの糸で施された閂止めの部分も可愛らしいアクセントです。

今季のコレクションのデニムも、昨年に引き続きオーガニックコットンでお作りしています。
世界のコットン栽培法の中で、わずか1％ほどのオーガニック農法。
デザイナーや作り手の想いがようやく実り、sisamのデニムをオーガニックコットンで形にすることができました。
「ボーテ刺繍の生産者」
デニムに刻まれたボーテの文字。
その刺繍をしてくれているのは、南インドにあるキルティングと機械刺繍の工場です。
ずらっと並んだ機械に向き合って、刺繍箇所の位置を調整しながら…
作り手が「ここだ！」と決めたところに、ダダダダッと機械が動いていきます。
なんと南インドの工場は、ときどき停電が起こるのだとか！
そうすると機械は止まってしまうので、チャイを飲みながらひと休み。検品もしながら復旧を待ちます。
緻密で美しい刺繍たちは、南インドの朗らかな空気の中で生み出されているのです。
「育てるデニム」
コットンの栽培法のなかで、現在のオーガニック農法は全体の1％ほどに過ぎません。
このデニムは、そんな希少な農法から育てられたオーガニックコットンを100％使用しています。
ワンウォッシュの10オンスデニムは、少し厚みがあり、しっかりした生地感。
自分色に育てる愉しみもありつつ、扱いやすいのが特徴です。
