Description
[Pullover that continues to be loved by many] This pullover has long been loved for its relaxed fit and beautiful flared silhouette. The hand-woven texture with shades of gray gives off a sense of presence even when worn simply as a single piece. It can also be easily layered, making it a piece that can be enjoyed throughout the season. [A lot of attention has been paid to the simplicity of this item.] The shoulders are drop-shoulder, giving this piece a relaxed feel. The sleeves are not too short and not too long, and the wrists can be seen a little, creating a light impression. The plain design of the collar makes it easy to match with necklaces and brooches. The sparkling shell button on the back collar is also a point of interest. It adds beauty to the back view. The drape created around the hem adds a natural three-dimensional effect around the stomach and waist. The length of the garment, which varies from front to back, and the slit at the hem give it a beautiful side view. [Hand-woven fabric from Khot Village in Northern Thailand] Jomthong weaving fabric comes from the Jomthong region in northern Thailand, about two hours from Chiang Mai city. It is famous for its traditional cotton hand-woven fabric. Sisam's fabrics are made in Hort, a region right next to Jomthong. Each weaver's family carries out the weaving work. Dyeing and weaving is done on the ground floor of the home on stilts. This is a picture of a loom being used to make fabric. Weft yarns are threaded through the loom, and then struck with a large comb-like object. Now the weft is passed from left to right, and thumped again. The weft is moved with great force throughout the process, as the foot pedals are used to alternately raise and lower the warp threads. The weaving process is controlled by the weaver's hand, so if the hammering force is a little strong, the weft threads will be jammed, and if the force is weak, the weave will be thin. If you look closely at the fabric, you will notice uneven dyeing and fraying, which are not seen in machine-weaving. This is the proof and taste of hand-weaving that brings depth to the fabric. [Hand-woven fabrics with a deep taste] Hand-woven fabric made of 100% cotton. The slightly taut beige fabric is an easy color to match with other colors. Please enjoy the change of the fabric as it becomes softer and softer as you wear it. The people involved in the PaaTooMuu series and its production are committed to manufacturing with handcrafts passed down from generation to generation in the local area, such as hand weaving and dyeing by plants and trees. The vice president of sisam named the series "PaaTooMuu" in honor of its beauty. Paa" means "cloth," "Too" means "weaving," and "Muu" means "hand" in Thai. [Fair Trade][Ethical Collection] |
