Description
| [A skirt decorated with a small checkered pattern.] A beautiful skirt with pintucks carefully folded one by one. The blue and beige hand-woven fabric that looks like a small checkered pattern is a piece of deep flavor. It gives a fresh impression to your spring and summer coordinate. [Handmade story] The way he creates the tucks without using a ruler or Chaco pen, just using the width of the sewing machine's presser and his sense of touch, is the work of a craftsman himself. It is the work of a skilled craftsman. After sewing pin tucks on a plain piece of cloth, the tucks are connected in a circle to make a skirt. Therefore, the skirt has a pocket on one side only. [Neat silhouette] Because of the pin-tucks, the hem of the skirt does not spread out too much, creating a beautiful silhouette. The silhouette is beautiful even when viewed from behind. It is a useful skirt because it creates a beautiful line while covering the body shape. [Hand-woven fabrics from the village of Khoat in Northern Thailand]. Jomthong weaving fabric comes from the Jomthong region in northern Thailand, about two hours from Chiang Mai city. It is famous for its traditional cotton hand-woven fabric. Sisam's fabrics are made in Hort, a region right next to Jomthong. Each weaver's family carries out the weaving work. Dyeing and weaving are done on the ground floor of the home on stilts. This is a picture of a loom being used to make fabric. Weft yarns are threaded through the loom, and then struck with a large comb-like object. Now the weft is passed from left to right, and thumped again. The weft is moved with great force throughout the process, as the foot pedals are used to alternately raise and lower the warp threads. The weaving process is controlled by the weaver's hand, so if the hammering force is a little strong, the weft threads will be jammed, and if the force is weak, the weave will be thin. If you look closely at the fabric, you will notice uneven dyeing and fraying, which are not seen in machine-weaving. This is the proof and taste of hand-weaving that brings depth to the fabric. [Taste of two-color threads]. This is a soft hand-woven fabric made of 100% cotton. If you look closely, the fabric looks like a small checkered pattern of blue and beige. The beige color is mixed with other colors, so it coordinates well with other colors and is easy to coordinate. The people involved in making the PaaTooMuu series and its products work hard at making things, along with traditional local handicrafts such as hand-weaving and dyeing. The vice president of sisam named the series "PaaTooMuu" in honor of its beauty. Paa" means "cloth," "Too" means "weaving," and "Muu" means "hand" in Thai. [Ethical Collection] |
