Description
Small shoulder pouch in gudry and baglamp print Shoulder pouch made of Bengali Gudhuri fabric with natural dye print of Bagh Group Lint. The soft cotton fabric and the deep colors of baggy lint are appealing. Although it is a small palm-sized pouch, it is solidly built with a zipper on the inside and a snap button on the flap. It can be used to carry a pass case, coin purse, etc. for a short trip. Each pattern is unique and one-of-a-kind. Gudry*Rally Quilt Gudri is a word for stitching that comes from Gujarat in Western India. It is also known as a rally quilt. To reinforce a worn cloth, two layers of cloth are joined and stitched on top of each other. This traditional technique, born from a heart that cherishes things, takes time and effort to renew the cloth. Bagu print Block prints are mainly produced in the state of Rajasthan in India, and the most famous of these is the Bagloo print, which is made in the village of Bagloo, located in the suburbs of Jaipur. The villagers have preserved the traditional technique for hundreds of years and continue to produce beautiful cotton cloth. This is a traditional Indian technique in which plates are carved by hand into wood, and patterns are made by stamping each plate with a different color, much like a stamp. The process increases with the number of colors used, and a great deal of time and effort is spent on the process. The blurring, smudging, and pattern deviations seen in bag prints show the warmth of Indian handwork. |
