Description
| In 1965 Marshall Fink was introduced as a vending machine toy. The Rat Finkling, designed by the then-popular Ed 'Ross, was introduced as a Martian version by Hennall Novelty & Premium. Concerned about accusations of infringement of Rat Fink, however, Hennall renamed it Moon Goon and began selling it. Unfortunately, the Moon Goons sold very little and have since become a phantom item among core fans. In the late 1990s, artist Dave *Burke trademarked the Marshall *Fink character in the U.S. and resurrected M.F. Our representative met Mr. Dave Burke in the U.S. in 2002 and they hit it off, and the reissue was decided. It was unearthed from an underground warehouse for the first time in more than 20 years. 当時、人気のエド'ロスがデザインしたラットフィンクリングをヘナルノベルティ&プレミアム社が火星人版として登場させました。
しかしRat Finkの侵害の告発を懸念したヘナル社は、Moon Goonと改名して、販売を開始しました。
くしくもムーングーンズはほとんど売れることはありませんでしたが、その後コアなファンの間では幻のアイテムとなりました。
1990年代後半、アーティストのデイブ・バーク氏がマーシャン・フィンクのキャラクターをアメリカで商標登録しM.F.を復活させました。
弊社代表が2002年アメリカでデーブバーク氏と知り合い意気投合して復刻がきまりました。
なんと20数年ぶりに地下倉庫から発掘されました。
