| Turkish Amethyst Cluster *Amethyst Also called purple crystal. It has a very long history of association with humans, and its name can be seen in the Old Testament. In Greek mythology, there is a story that Diana, the goddess of the moon, took pity on the maiden amethyst, which was about to be misled by the licentious god Bacchus and his retainers, and turned it into a stone.
