We have created a kyusu that can be found nowhere else in the world. This kyusu has a camouflage pattern, and no two kyusu have the same pattern. The body is camouflage patterned, and the mouth and handle are made by original kneading, The lid is simply black. It is a very interesting kyusu. It is made by Tosen, a kyusu craftsman. The netting is made of [ceramesh]. It is made of ceramic tea strainer. [Tokoname ware] Tokoname ware is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan, and its origins date back to the late Heian period. Tokoname ware is characterized by the use of iron-rich clay from the Chita Peninsula. Taking advantage of this property, the iron is used to produce a reddish color, which is called shu-odori, The color of the pottery that characterizes Tokoname ware was produced. |
