パイサとは、1ルピーの100分の1で、日本で言う「銭」に値する通貨単位になります。日本だけではなく、インドもまたインフレし、パイサは日常では使われなくなってしまいましたが、このような形で残り、歴史に触れられるのは嬉しいですね。
