| *Fine quality meditation. The dingsha (tingsha) is used in Nepalese religious music. It is a thick cymbal-like instrument with a very clear sound when both are held in the hand and struck together in a relaxed manner. It is often used in yoga and meditation to help with mental unification. *Top quality This is one of the finest dhinsa made in Nepal. When I visited the workshop in Nepal for the first time in a while, the owner showed me a special piece. The diameter is one or two times larger than a regular dinsya. It is thick and heavy, and made with the luxury of high-quality metal. The quality of the instrument is obvious just by holding it in your hand, but you will be even more surprised by its quality when you try to play it. The sound is so intense that it is almost numbing, but it is not noisy at all, filling the space with a well-honed sound. The price is not cheap, but we have purchased it from Nepal with the intention of adding it to the Tilakita lineup. We hope you will try it and experience its resonance. |

ネパールの宗教音楽に使われているディンシャ（ティンシャ／tingsha）。分厚いシンバルのような形状の両方を手に提げてゆったりと打ち合わせることでとても澄んだ音が響き渡る楽器です。ヨガや瞑想の際に用いることで精神統一の助けとされることも多いです。
■最高級品
そんなディンシャのなかでもこちらは極めて上級の作り。久しぶりにネパールの工房に訪れた際に、ご主人が特別に見せてくれた一品です。通常のディンシャよりひと回りもふた周りも大きい直径。そして上質な金属を贅沢に使った肉厚で重厚な造り。手にしただけでも素晴らしさがわかるものですが、鳴らしてみるとさらにその品質に驚きます。ビリビリと痺れるほどの鮮烈な、しかし決してうるさくない、研ぎ澄まされた音が空間を満たしていくのです。
上質な楽器というだけあってお値段も決して安いわけではありませんが、ぜひティラキタのラインナップに加えたという思いでネパールから仕入れて来ました。ぜひ打ち鳴らしてこの響きを体感くださいませ。
