| *Indian Mystery Bento Box [This is a mysterious Indian lunch box that is said to be leak-proof even when filled with curry or other food. It is used with rice in the lower tier and soupy curry, etc. in the upper tier. Incidentally, only the top shelf is leak-proof, while the middle and lower shelf are prone to leakage. 「カレーなどを入れても漏れない」といわれるインドの不思議な弁当箱。下段にご飯、上に汁気のあるカレーなどを入れて使用します。 ちなみに、汁物が漏れづらいのは一番上の段のみで、中・下段は漏れやすいので、汁物は必ず上段に入れてご使用ください。
ティラキタの実験では、水を入れてさかさまにすると最初は少し雫が垂れますが、その後まったく漏れなくなりました。水蒸気がシールの代わりになるのだと思います。ただ、日本の製品のようにパッキンが入って気密性になっている訳ではありませんので、逆さまにして振ったりはしない方がいいかと思います。
なお、こちらの商品は海外製品ですので、日本の工業製品に比べると傷があったり多少の歪みがあったりします。インド製品の特性ですので、ご了承の上お買い求めくださいませ。
