| *Indian sensory dustcloth. This is a zokin* duster with a simple, lived-in Indian feel. The thickness of the cotton, the coarseness, the size, the color, and the overall atmosphere of the duster is a product with a rough Indian feel because it is made of recycled yarn. The sewing is messy, and the fabric has some fraying, but it is really just as the average Indian citizen uses it. インドのシンプルな生活感あふれる、雑巾・ダスターです。リサイクル糸を使用しているため、コットンの厚みや、目の粗さ、サイズ感、色味など全体的な雰囲気などがざっくりインドを感じさせる一品です。
縫製は雑で、生地にもほつれがあったりと、本当にインドの一般庶民が使っているそのまんま。現地ではモップの先端に付けて雑巾がけにしたり、オートリキシャのウィンドウやシートをサッと拭けるように積まれていたり、本当に日常生活の様々なシーンで使用されています。
■販売するか正直悩みました・・・
インドで見つけたときは『ああ、これこれ！ありそうでないざっくり感が最高！』と気に入って仕入れてきたティラキタ買い付け班。
しかしながら、実際に日本で見てみると
『これ使う前から完全に雑巾なんですけど！！！』
というものでした。
匂いもちょっと懐かしい体育館のマットの匂い・・・
新品なのに不思議です。
日本で通常販売されている雑巾は、もちろん未使用なので綺麗な布（タオル）だと思うのですが、インドの雑巾は未使用なのにすでに雑巾感が半端なく、未使用なはずなのに洗うと水が汚れました。
あまりに雑巾感が強いので、販売して良いものか・・・と悩みましたが
だって雑巾なので！と意を決して販売します。
