Although it comes from a faraway country, it strangely fits perfectly in Japanese houses. Since Islam forbids human and animal expressions, an infinite series of patterns, mainly geometric patterns such as arabesques and plant patterns, have developed remarkably. 幾何学デザインを基調にした、素敵なモロカンスタイルのランプが、インドの金属の都モラダバードからやってきました。
細かく空いた穴から漏れ出る光はとても綺麗です。ご自宅のお部屋に、お店のインテリアとしてもオススメです。遠い国からやってきたものではありますが、不思議と日本の家屋にもぴったりフィットします。
イスラム教では人間や動物表現を禁じているため、アラベスクなどの幾何学文様や植物文様を中心とした、無限連続文様が著しく発達しました。また、イスラム教では偶像崇拝を禁止しているため、無限に広がるパターンを構成しているアラベスク模様が唯一神アラーの創造を象徴していると考えられています。
■配線は入っていません
こちらのランプですが、ランプシェードのみのお届けとなり、電球や配線は入っておりません。
スタンドタイプの場合、デコレーション用途で完璧性を求めなければ、横の窓が開きますので、そこからポイッと電球を入れていただくのが一番簡単です。
■特大サイズです
こちらはなかなか日本では手に入らない特大サイズのモロカンランプです。とても素敵でいいのですが、大きくて倉庫の場所に困ること、輸送途中で壊れやすいことなど、いろいろな条件が合わず、通常は入荷しないサイズです。
ですが先日、買付班が実際に工房を訪問してきまして、あまりにも素敵すぎるのでついつい喜んで仕入れてきました。日本に到着したら案の定、「これ、大きくて倉庫に入りませんよ…」と言う事になりまして。ですので、次回の入荷の予定はございません。
