It is a luxurious black shiny reddish brown. Although it is small in size, the pattern is carved well all the way to the back. This form of Shiva dancing is called Dancing Shiva and has been the most beloved style since ancient times. He is both the creator and destroyer of the world, and while his dance continues to create the world, it is said that he destroys the universe with the flame in his hand. These are reasonably priced, less than 1/5 of the metal ones of the same size. The secret is that they are made of a plastic called resin. The metal statue of God is molded, and the resin is poured into the mold. *One for the family!
