The applique technique itself originally originated in Europe, but was brought to India through trade by merchants from the Arabian Middle East, and developed especially in Rajasthan. The lovely sense of life created by delicately cutting out beautifully dyed fabrics with Indian motifs such as elephants, birds, and the tree of life, and then patchworking them onto stonewashed fabrics, is a handicraft art culture that cannot be seen anywhere else. *Cushion cover made of ajrakh fabric Ajrakh fabric is made entirely by hand using wood blocks, and the chic colors that emerge from the intricate process are popular not only in India but also worldwide, making it a scarce commodity. Ajrak cloth can only be made in the unique desert climate. They have tried to make it in Jaipur, which has the same desert climate, but they said they just can't make it in Jaipur. *The best of handicrafts.
