The leather used for the logo name and handles is also made from deer skin harvested in Taka-machi. Both production and materials are made in Japan. Sugihara paper is made of 100% natural raw materials, and we use only deerskin that has been harvested for animal damage control. We are particular about the selection of core materials and sewing methods to withstand a certain amount of weight. There is no gusset, but there are four darts near the bottom (front and back), so there is a bulge at the bottom, It is more roomy than a flat bag.
