Description
| The Super Sentai series, which began with "Secret Sentai Goranger" in 1975, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. The first Super Sentai series, [Secret Sentai Goranger], began airing on Saturday, April 5, 1975 as a 30-minute television program. The show was popular among children because it featured five heroes with different personalities wearing suits of different colors (red, blue, yellow, peach, and green) and battling a giant evil organization as a five-color team called "Sentai" (squadron). The series was aired for 84 episodes, an unusually long run of about two years.
