ギリシャ語で「風」を意味するアネモスを由来に持ち、イギリスでは「wind flower」と呼ばれるこの花が、風に揺れながら咲く美しい姿をデザインに落とし込みました。

ブロックプリントとは、木彫り版でハンコを押すように1柄ずつ1色ずつプリントされたものです。
まず、アウトラインとなる柄のスタンプを押していき、その後色を乗せていきます。
使われている色の数だけ作業は複雑になっていきます。
全て手作業の為、染ムラやスタンプの境目などが少し出ていますが、それがブロックプリントの良さでもあり、風合いとなっております。
