桃田賢斗選手が優勝、
女子では山口茜選手が
世界ランキングで1位に立つなど、
ダブルス勢も含めて多くのプレーヤーが活躍している。
日本代表のレベルが向上した理由は、
大きく分けて3つ。
一つ目は、代表強化チームスタッフのレベルが
上がったこと。
二つ目は、ナショナルトレーニングセンター(NTC)
が開設されたこと。
三つ目は、日本バドミントン協会の
