銀色に光り、高級感のある金属ホワイトメタルを使用したコーン香立てです。花をモチーフにしたデザインは華やかで飾っておくだけでも存在感を発揮します。
ホワイトメタルはあまり日本ではみかけませんが、銀色の光が清潔感を与えるのでインドでは祭礼用品などによく使われている金属です。表面には細かいインド風の装飾が彫られ、さらなる高級感とエスニック感、ゴージャス感が感じられます。
元々はインドの金属デザイナーが原型を作っていますが、多くの人にリーズナブルなお値段で届けるためにその原型から鋳型を作り、その鋳型に溶かした金属を流しこむ方法で作られています。金属が固まったら鋳型から出し、細かいところを整形し、磨いて完成です。
