| Machiko, a cat wearing a Machiko roll*. She survives today's stressful society with an angry face! Machiko's face and full-body beaded coaster are handmade one by one by craftsmen in India. The coasters are lined with cloth to prevent water droplets from wetting the table when drinks are placed on them. *Because they are handmade, there may be slight variations in size and expression. *The specifications will be changed and the price will be revised from July 2025. New price: 900 yen for the face, 1,000 yen for the whole body Change 1: The product number has been changed (previous numbers: 0044AGM121, 0044AGM122). Change 2: The color of beads has been changed. Change 3: The backing material is now dark gray. *What is "Machiko"? Machiko-san, the hiron of the movie that became a big hit in Japan after the war, wore a scarf around her head, and it became a big trend among young women at that time to wear a scarf around their heads. 戦後に日本で大ヒットした映画のヒロン、まち子さんがスカーフを頭に巻いていて、当時の若い女性の間で頭にスカーフを巻くことが一大トレンドとなった。そのスカーフ巻きの呼び名。
余談ですがマチコさんはビスク企画部所属です。
