This project started when Taisei Shiki Seisakusho participated in its first European exhibition [Maison*e*Objet] and felt sympathy for each other's activities and products. -DEJIMA DEJIMA also jointly operates a print studio called INVENTAIRE. It is a store that attracts attention in the illustration scene and has a network of illustrators from all over the world. Taisei Shiki Seisakusho also collaborates with many illustrators in Japan and Asia through products such as POCHI-PON. Because of this sympathy with art and illustration, we asked two illustrators from France and two from Japan to participate in the project and create illustrations on the common theme of [family]. 【パリ・マレ地区にある人気ストア「DEJIMA」との共同企画】 日本の工芸品や工業技術と、フランスのアーティストの橋渡しを行い新しい日用品を提案するコンセプトストア「DEJIMA」。大成紙器製作所が初のヨーロッパ展示会「メゾン・エ・オブジェ」に出展した際に知り合い、お互いの活動やプロダクトにシンパシーを感じ、このプロジェクトが始まりました。
DEJIMAでは、INVENTAIREというプリントスタジオも共同運営しています。イラストレーションシーンで注目されるお店で、世界中のイラストレーターとネットワークがあります。また大成紙器製作所は、POCHI-PONなどの商品を通して日本やアジアで多くのイラストレーターとコラボレーションをしています。 このようにアートやイラストとのシンパシーがあるため、フランスから2名、日本から2名のイラストレーターに参加してもらい、「家族」という共通のテーマでイラストを描きあげてもらいました。
