GP (gold plated) is used for the base metal (mainly brass) with a thickness of about 0.1 microns, while GF (gold filled) is used for the base metal (mainly brass) with a thickness of about 0.1 microns, GF (gold-filled) is made by crimping a layer of gold over 1/20th of the total weight, including the base metal, and is called gold-plated. Because the layer of gold is incomparably thicker than that of gold plating or coating, the gold layer rarely peels off or wears off under normal wear.
