It is usually a byproduct of extracting coffee beans, but it can be dried and extracted like a tea. * What is cascara liquor? Cascara liquor is a fruity flavored liquor made by soaking dried coffee cherry pulp (cascara) in liquor. The natural sweetness * acidity * fruity aroma of cascara is soaked into the liquor, giving it a gorgeous and gentle flavor. * Sustainable appeal Cascara sake is an upcycled product that reuses cascara, a coffee byproduct.
