植物タンニンでなめした牛キップをベースに、東京の工場で加工した革です。革の表面を箔加工した後に、タイコと呼ばれる大きなドラムに水と一緒に入れて回し、革を縮めて表面にシュリンクを作っていきます。箔加工は革らしくないイメージがありますが、この革はタンニン鞣しとシュリンク加工をすることで、革らしい仕上がりになっています。
