The warp yarn is 40 count and the weft yarn is 30 count with a silky finish (a process that makes the fabric fluffy and soft). It does not feel as thick as a 40 count yarn. The thickness of the fabric is thin and suitable for apparel such as dresses and shirts. It is very light and thin twill fabric is rare, so please give it a try.
