*Outlet books are sold in accordance with the industry's voluntary standards to prevent back-flow to publishers and to distinguish them from resale products,
In order to prevent back-flow to publishers and to distinguish them from resale items, BB labels are attached to the front 54 (back cover) of Japanese books and to the bottom of the book for Western books,
For Western books, a red line is drawn on the bottom of the book (the bottom part of the book when it is standing up).
(Some non-resale items do not have this treatment.)
