常滑焼(とこなめやき)は、平安時代後期から1,000年の歴史を有し、日本六古窯のひとつに数えられる焼き物産地です。急須や食器などの日用品から陶管・タイル・衛生陶器などの建築資材まで幅広い製品がつくられています。昭和51年6月11日、国の「伝統的工芸品産業の振興に関する法律」に基づき伝統的工芸品として産地指定を受けました。
■老舗の急須窯元、陶仙窯さんの手造り急須です。
■急須全体が陶器で出来ています。お茶の旨みを抽出することの出来る陶製茶こし(セラメッシュ)です。
■1〜2人分の容量とお考えください。(1人100mlとして)
■四色の練込陶土を使用し、本体外側を手作業でカットしています。(練込の模様とカットは写真と異なることがあります)1100度で焼成しています。素材に有害な物質は含まれていません。
■蓋と本体は一対にする為すり合わせ作業を行います。その為蓋と本体に研磨した痕があります。
