We named it "Kobiki glaze" because it looks as if it uses the Kobiki technique of ceramics. The "kohiki" technique refers to the application of a cosmetic clay to the fabric, so there is no such thing as a "kohiki" glaze, and the term was coined to express the characteristics of this product. Both ceramics and porcelain have their advantages. The advantages of ceramics are warmth, soft and gentle atmosphere, and taste. etc. Porcelain is easy to handle, durable, and clean. etc. Porcelain has all the advantages of ceramic and porcelain mentioned above! 温かみのあるアイボリーの地に茶色の絵具で絵付けした粉引釉。
陶器のように見えますが、実は磁器です。
陶器の粉引という技法を使っているように見えるので、粉引釉と名付けました。
粉引という技法は生地に化粧土を施すことを言いますので、粉引の釉薬などというものは存在しておらず、この商品の特性を表現した造語です。
陶器、磁器、どちらにも良さがあります。
陶器の良さといえば、温かみがある、柔らかく優しい雰囲気、味わいがある。などなど
磁器の良さといえば、扱いやすい、丈夫である、清潔である。などなど
今あげた陶器・磁器の良さは、この粉引釉、全て兼ね備えています！
陶器の雰囲気を持つ磁器。それが粉引釉の最大の特徴です。
陶器って、私も大好きなんです。
雰囲気が良くて、味わい深くて。。。
だけど、食事をする時に手に取る食器は何故か磁器。
きっとそれは扱いやすいから。毎日使う道具はどうしても扱いやすいものを使いたくなりますよね。
