キャタンドッグは清浄な素肌のままで着けることが基本になります。
スポットオンタイプのノミ・ダニ駆除剤など、ペットの身体に化学物質が残留するような薬剤とキャタンドッグを使用することはおすすめできません。
また、ハーブ・オイルなど体に残るものとの使用もおすすめできません。身体に残留する薬剤成分の影響で、キャタンドッグが順応できず、保護磁界が形成されないため効果が発揮できません。
正しい着け方
1.キャタンドッグはノミ・ダニやその卵を「駆除」する商品ではありません。必ず着ける前に駆除しておきます。身体に残留しない薬やノミとりシャンプーなどを使用してください。ノミ・ダニの温床となる小屋やベッドもきれいに掃除して下さい。外飼いで木製の犬小屋が、一度ノミ・ダニの温床となった場合は、完全な駆除が難しく、お取り替えをおすすめいたします。室内が、すでにノミ・ダニの温床化している可能性がある場合は、ノミ・ダニ用のくん煙殺虫剤をおすすめします。
2.装着前にシャンプーをし、薬などを除去し、清浄な素肌にします。
3.その後、首輪やチェーンなどを利用して犬または猫の首近くに着けます。ブラブラと揺れることは必須ですが、キャタンドッグは首近くに着けることが基本です。首から離れた位置では効果が期待できません。
ご使用時の注意
1.歩行時にキャタンドッグが自由に揺れる事が重要です。キャタンドッグが揺れる事で保護磁界が生じるからです。
2.迷子札等と重ねて装着しないでください。（同じリングに迷子札とキャタンドッグを入れないでください）メタルと迷子札等の間隔をあけたり高さを調整して、メタルと迷子札が打ち合ったり重らない様に工夫して下さい。キャタンドッグ・メタルを優先し、迷子札をメタルから離れた箇所に付けるのも良いでしょう。
3.被毛が長い、また被毛の多いペットの場合、キャタンドッグが被毛の中に埋もれないようにご注意ください。
4.キャタンドッグが効果を発揮するまでに、装着後7〜20日の期間が必要です。効果が現れるまでの7〜20日間は順応期間です。順応期間中にノミ・ダニがついた場合は、ブラッシングやシャンプーで除去します。ペットの身体に化学成分が残留するスポットオンタイプのノミ・ダニ駆除剤、その類似品、また残留の可能性のあるハーブオイルなども使わないでください。一度装着したら、キャタンドッグを取り外さないでください。できればシャンプーの時やレントゲン撮影の時にも、メタルを外さないでください。常に首に着けていることで、キャタンドッグ・メタルの効果が保証されます。キャタンドッグを一時的に
