With the revision of the Child Care and Family Care Leave Law, the government and companies are promoting the creation of an environment where anyone can balance work and nursing care.

However, most of the information for those who are trying to balance work and nursing care focuses on "not leaving the workforce," and not much of it is considered from a "career" perspective.

In addition, many people decide to quit their jobs [leave for caregiving] without thinking about the life that will follow when they need to care for a family member or other family member.

This document will explain the basics and the concept to those who are wondering whether or not to balance the two, or who are somehow thinking about continuing* to work or quitting.
