| This product is made of the same wood used for Kuretake's ink making process. Wajima-nuri is a representative Japanese lacquer art, in which natural lacquer is applied over and over again. The maki-e depicts a dragon rising to the sky. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, handcrafted by craftsmen, and even the same design has a different look and feel for each piece. The deep luster and transparency of this unique lacquer ware will become more and more attractive as you use it more and more. |
