We use brass parts without plating for metal parts used in our products whenever possible. Brass tarnishes progressively over time. Also, when touched by hand, moisture and oil will further change the color. To convey the charm of brass, we would originally like to deliver our products without any modification, but to prevent discoloration during distribution after production and handling in stores, we have applied a coating. However, if the brass fittings are rubbed or wiped lightly with a cloth, they will change to a soft, deep, antique shine that is unique to brass.
