Description
| 12 rice bowls, replaced by a new one, blue, 50% recycled material [meguri] This is a bowl that gives form to a less formal existence of daily use with recycled tableware. Re- tableware [Re50], which is made of 50% recycled tableware, has a very warm color. Its texture, which is different from that of porcelain, creates a warm dining table and makes rice and tea more delicious. We would be happy if the vessels, which have been passed from one handler to another, become tools that warmly color our lives. [Re-Dishware] This eco-friendly and ethical tableware is made by crushing collected unwanted tableware and mixing it once again with soil to give it a new form. [It was born in 1999 in the Mino Ceramic Ware area with the cooperation of many people in and outside the production area, in an attempt to change the common belief that ceramics cannot be recycled even though the materials are becoming increasingly depleted. The circle of never-ending resource recycling and a new ethical lifestyle is being born through the cooperation of many people, including users, makers, and sellers of tableware. [What is Re50?] In 2011, we succeeded in increasing the ratio of unnecessary tableware from 20% (Re20) to 50% (Re50). The 50% blend has enabled low carbon, resource recycling, and improved product performance.
