Description
[p style="language:en;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-left:0in; text-indent:0in"]A chasen or chasen is a tea utensil used in the tea ceremony to prepare matcha (powdered green tea). [p style="language:en;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-left:0in; text-indent:0in"] [p style="language:ja;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-left:0in; text-indent:0in"][text-indent:0in"]Because it is sometimes used to make plenty of foam during thin tea preparation, it is often understood to be a type of whisk, but it is originally a tool for stirring. Today, it is a popular product for outdoor activities and inbound foreign tourists. [p style="language:en;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-left:0in; text-indent:0in"]Chasen is washed by placing the tip of the whisk in a container filled with water and shaking it to remove dirt. If the dirt is not removed by shaking, gently rub the tip of the whisk to remove it. Once clean, dry it in a dry place like a tea bowl. The tip of the ear is a very delicate part, so please wash it gently instead of scrubbing it.
