The Yaki-iro chopstick rest series expresses the "colors" of pottery through the natural contrasts of shades and textures, blotches and grazes created by traditional techniques The "Iroha" of "Yakimono" is expressed in each small chopstick rest. [About the Inglaze Transfer Technique] The transfer is painted on a vessel baked at 1,340 degrees Celsius and baked at 1,100 degrees Celsius a second time. It is characterized by its ability to express even the smallest details, such as tools and vegetables drawn in a kirie-e style. The natural flow and shading of the glaze produced by the melting and flowing of the glaze during firing in the kiln makes each piece look a little different. 【イングレーズ転写技法について】
1340 度で焼き上げたうつわに転写を使用して絵付けし、1100 度で二度焼きして絵付けします。切り絵風に描かれた道具や野菜のように、細かい部分まで表現できるのが特徴です。窯の中で焼くときに、釉薬が溶け流れることで生まれる自然な釉薬の流れや濃淡は、一つひとつ少しずつ表情が異なります。やきものの個性としてお楽しみいただければうれしいです。
