| A new series of lucky charms from Umeya! The dog hariko has a magnet attached to its base, so you can enjoy putting it on your refrigerator or other places. The back side has explanations of the motifs in both English and Japanese, making it a perfect souvenir for overseas customers. A magnet 2 cm in diameter and 2 mm thick is attached to the center of the back. The 12-month calendar is glued at the top and attached to the base paper. [The explanation text on the back side is in Japanese.] This is a lucky charm, "OHARIKO," which has been handed down since the Edo period. This lovely local toy is used as a good-luck charm, to ward off bad luck, and to pray for the growth of children. [Back side text in English].
