| Yaki-iro chopstick rest, iron-painted lattice pattern, off-white Chopstick rests with brushstroke lines that have different expressions depending on the glaze. In the small YAKIIRO chopstick rest series, the natural contrasts of shading and texture, blotches and grazes created by traditional techniques are expressed in the "colors" of the "pottery" in each small chopstick rest. The "Iroha" (color) of pottery is expressed in each small chopstick rest. [About the "iron rust brush painting technique"]. This is a technique in which iron rust is used as a pigment to paint on a vessel with a brush. Although there are individual differences due to the handmade process, we hope you will enjoy the individuality as an interesting aspect of pottery.
