食がとても豊かなタイ。どこに行っても、屋台やお惣菜屋さんなどで、さまざまな食材が手に入ります。
そして、そんなお惣菜やお菓子は、基本的にビニール袋に詰めた状態で販売されています。カレーやスープ類などの汁物も、袋の上部を輪ゴムを使いクルクルっとうまく留めて、ビニール袋をずらりと並べた状態で陳列します。
袋がうまく立って並んでいるのは、袋の中に空気を入れてパンパンの状態にしてあるからなのですが、見た目が良くなるのと溢れにくくなるという利点があるようです。
