Nambu tetsubin, a well-known traditional Japanese craft, has been used by the common people since ancient times. The unique wabi-sabi design of the tetsubin is a Japanese gem that gives us a sense of familiarity and richness. The water boiled in a Nanbu Tetsubin is said to be mellow to the touch, and has long been favored by tea masters and others. Recently, more and more people are drinking white water as a way to wake up. Water boiled in an iron kettle provides the body with bivalent iron in a natural form.

This tetsubin can be used as an iron kettle for boiling water and as a kyusu (teapot) with the attached tea strainer.
