It has a checkered pattern in vivid colors like a gamut towel, so it can be used in one place as a bedspread, tablecloth, sofa cover, curtain, or blindfold to brighten up a room. It is a higher quality woven cloth with a tighter weave than the standard Itawa cloth. [Gamcha] is a towel (hand towel) commonly used in the Bengal region (Bangladesh and West Bengal, India), and is also used throughout India and Pakistan. The name "Gamsha Towel" has been used for a long time because the Indian pronunciation sounded close to "Gamsha," but since the exact pronunciation is "Gamcha," the name has been changed to "Gamcha" (this series of products itself is not Gamcha). |
