マイカは劈開性のある層状の結晶を持ち、特徴・色合いの異なる様々な種類が存在する鉱物です。
このようなルチルのように内包するのはとても希少です。
また、エピドートにも似ていることから、ブラウンエピドートインクォーツとしても流通しています。
