Description
| This is a popular standard product of Malaika. Glass beads in African colors are made into bracelets. Find your favorite! Glass beads have been traditionally made in the Korobo region of Ghana, Africa for over 1000 years. In the past, they were used as money by the Ashanti people, and even today they play an important role in many important events such as marriages, births of children, and birthdays. The beads are made from colorful recycled glass bottles, which are shattered, melted, and processed into beads of the appropriate size. The beads are then hand-painted with patterns. The beads can be taken apart and used as key chains, charms, etc.! |
