The paper has a cloth-like, washi-like texture, and is then treated with foil and sewn with a sewing machine to give it strength. It is also very compact and can be carried around because of its thinness of approximately 7mm. This time, the design is inspired by the traditional hemp leaf pattern seen in Asakusa and Ginza in Tokyo, and by kintsugi, or gold-plated joints, to express the identity of Tokyo and the beauty of restoration, where history and modernity are fused.
