■癒しの楽器
素朴で優しい音色が涼しげな、ココナッツ製のカリンバです。胴の部分にはココナッツが用いられており柔らかなカーブになっています。表面は木材が用いられています。カリンバはもともとアフリカ原産の民族楽器ですが、その癒し系の音、シンプルな作り、簡単な演奏法とともに人気が出て、今では多くの東南アジア諸国で作られるようになりました
おやゆびでぽろんぽろんと奏でるだけでも凄く楽しいです。また、鍵盤を動かすことで好みの音階にチューニングすることもできます。カリンバの鍵盤を固定させている金具に対して、鍵盤の長さが長いほど音程が低くなり、鍵盤の長さが短いほど音程が高くなります。チューニングには、専用の小さいハンマーやペンチが用いられます。
■ナチュラルな雰囲気
デザインのベースは、ニスが塗られているだけのシンプルなカリンバです。ナチュラルな雰囲気が魅力のかわいいカリンバです。アクセントとして、バリ島を代表するゲッコーや、ウミガメなどが彫られています。
